about

Agartha, the newly project by Lyubomir Yordanov, released in 2013 is a mostly grand and epic film music inspired album, containing powerful, ethnic, brooding and soft tracks. The approach the composer took is significantly different from his previous works, but nevertheless there is a sign from his handwriting.

Colorful balance of a full orchestra, chorus, and specialty percussion employed for the newer assignment, will transport your mind to some interesting and imaginary places. As usual all this is dressed with classical violin, ethnic vocals, ud, native flutes and piano. It’s dramatic and moody; dreamy and evolving; emotional and sad – all in one place!

Agartha is a wonderful journey, captures the feel of the time yet a great blend of ancient and modern sounds.
